Sign into your Shyft app.
From the Globalview tab, tap on the “Quick Actions” drop-down and select "Send Money".
Select one of the following:
• Shyft-to-Shyft
• International Transfer
• Standard Bank Offshore Accounts
• Any of the Preloaded Partners
For Shyft-to-Shyft payments, you will be prompted to send an invitation to the Shyft user you want to pay.
For international transfers, tap “Create a beneficiary”, select the account type and follow the prompts on screen.
For Standard Bank offshore accounts, tap "Create a beneficiary”, select the account type and follow the prompts on screen.
To add a preloaded partner beneficiary account, select the relevant partner then tap “Add investment account now” and follow the prompts on screen.
Download ShyftSign into your Shyft app.

How to make a free Shyft-to-Shyft payment

Choose your preferred currency, enter the amount you want to send, and type in a payment reference (e.g. “Brunch in Berlin”). Tap “Next” to review.
Review the payment details. Tap “Confirm Pay” to complete the payment, or “Cancel” to go back. A pop-up will confirm your payment.
Download ShyftSign into your Shyft app.

In the next menu, select Standard Bank Offshore Accounts or one of our integrated partners.
For Standard Bank Offshore Accounts, tap “Add beneficiary” and choose between Standard Bank Isle of Man and Standard Bank Jersey. Specify the beneficiary type, select the currency and tap “Continue”.
OR
Select one of our integrated partners, tap “Add investment account now” and follow the prompts on screen.
Download ShyftLog into your Shyft app.
From the Globalview tab, tap on the “Quick Actions” drop-down and select "Send Money".
In the next menu, select Standard Bank Offshore Accounts or one of our integrated partners.
For Standard Bank Offshore Accounts, tap “Add beneficiary” and choose between Standard Bank Isle of Man and Standard Bank Jersey. Specify the beneficiary type, select the currency and tap “Continue”.

Select one of our integrated partners, tap “Add investment account now” and follow the prompts on screen.

You can pay another Shyft user using any of the currencies available.
International payments are charged at a flat fee per transaction. This fee varies depending on the currency. Our standard fees for transfers to standard international bank accounts are as follows. USD payments: USD 14.00 EUR payments: EUR 12.00 GBP payments: GBP 10.00 AUD payments: AUD 18.00
For international payments to Standard Bank Isle of Man, Standard Bank Jersey and Webtrader beneficiaries created using the pre-loaded beneficiary creation flow, our standard fees are as follows. USD payments: USD 10.00 EUR payments: EUR 9.00 GBP payments: GBP 8.00 AUD payments: AUD 13.00
Shyft will show exactly how much each transaction will cost before you transfer the funds.
Fees may change during promotional periods.
Once you have logged into Shyft, tap the menu icon in the top left corner of the screen. Select “Wallet Top-ups”. Select the foreign currency you’d like to receive the payment in. Read and accept the terms and conditions. You or the person transferring the funds must use the provided details and instructions to make a transfer to your Shyft wallet. Send proof of payment to support@getshyft.co.za.
